MetalCore: Canción #2: "Forever" - As I Lay Dying

Forever, your eyes will hold the memory.
I saw your heart as it overtook me.
We tried so hard to understand and reason
But in that one moment, I gave my heart away.

I gave my heart away.
In that moment, I gave my heart away.
In that moment, I gave my heart away.

With that perfect breath where my mind lay beside me
And all I knew is what had overtaken me.
With no reason, I am comforted by inability to understand.

Forever, your eyes will hold the memory.
I saw your heart as it overtook me.
We tried so hard to understand and reason
But in that one moment, I gave my heart away.

I gave my heart away.
In that moment, I gave my heart away.
In that moment, I gave my heart away.

Forever your eyes will hold the memory.
Forever your eyes will hold the memory.
Forever your eyes will hold the memory.

When I wake from this dream,
Will your smile still open my heart
And leave me transparent?

When I wake from this dream,
Will your smile still open my heart?

(Thunder) (x10)
I was caught
In the middle of a railroad track (Thunder)
I looked 'round,
And I knew there was no turning back (Thunder)
My mind raced
And I thought what could I do? (Thunder)
And I knew
There was no help, no help from you (Thunder)
Sound of the drums
Beatin' in my heart
The thunder of guns!
Tore me apart
You've been - thunderstruck!
Rode down the highway
Broke the limit, we hit the ton
Went through to Texas, yeah Texas
And we had some fun
We met some gals,

Some dancers who gave us good times
Broke all the rules, played all the fools
Yeah, yeah, they, they, they blew our minds
And I was shakin' at the knees
Could I come again please.
Yeah the ladies were too kind
You've been - thunderstruck, thunderstruck
Yeah yeah yeah, thunderstruck
Yeah
Oh, thunderstruck, yeah
Now we're shaking at the knees
Could I come again please.
Thunderstruck, thunderstruck
Yeah yeah yeah, thunderstruck
Thunderstruck, yeah, yeah, yeah
Said yeah, it's alright
We're! Doing fine
Yeah, it's alright
We're! Doing fine
So fine
Thunderstruck, yeah, yeah, yeah,
Thunderstruck, thunderstruck, thunderstruck
Whoa baby, baby, thunderstruck
You've been thunderstruck, thunderstruck
Thunderstruck, thunderstruck, thunderstruck
You've been thunderstruck

Thunderstruck fue incluida en el álbum
The Razor's Edge publicado 1990

Disfrutadlo.

Hard Rock: Canción #2: "Stricken" - Disturbed

AH! AH! AH! OW!

You walk on like a woman in suffering
Won't even bother now to tell me why
You come along, letting all of us savor the moment
Leaving me broken another time

You come on like a bloodstained hurricane
Leave me alone, let me be this time
You carry on like a holy man pushing redemption
I don't want to mention, the reason I know

That I am Stricken and can't let you go
When the heart is cold, there's no hope, and we know
That I am crippled by all that you've done
Into the abyss will I run!-

AH! AH! AH! OW!

You don't know what your power has done to me
I want to know if I'll heal inside
I can't go on with a holocaust about to happen
Seeing you laughing another time

You'll never know why your face has haunted me
My very soul has to bleed this time
Another hole in the wall of my inner defenses
Leaving me breathless, the reason I know

That I am stricken and can't let you go
When the heart is cold, there's no hope, and we know
That I am crippled by all that you've done
Into the abyss will I run!-

Into the abyss will I run!

[SOLO ESPECTACULAR DE GUITARRA DE DAN DONEGAN]

AHHHHHH!

You walk on like a woman in suffering
Won't even bother now to tell me why
You come along, letting all of us savor the moment
Leaving me broken another time

You come on like a bloodstained hurricane
Leave me alone, let me be this time
You carry on like a holy man pushing redemption
No One to mention, the reason I know

That I am stricken and can't let you go
When the heart is cold, there's no hope, and we know
That I am crippled by all that you've done
Into the abyss will I run!-

Into the abyss will I run!-
I can't let you go!
Yes I am stricken and can't let you go!!

(xDDD)

Alternative Rock: Canción #13: "Everything changes" - Staind

If you just walked away
What could I really say?
Would it matter anyway?
Would it change how you feel?

I am the mess you chose
The closet you cannot close,
The devil in you I suppose
'Cause the wounds never heal.

But everything changes
If I could turn back the years
If you could learn to forgive me
Then I could learn to feel,

Sometimes the things I say
In moments of disarray
Succumbing to the games we play
To make sure that it's real.

But everything changes
If I could turn back the years
If you could learn to forgive me

Then I could learn to feel,

When it's just me and you.
Who knows what we could do.
If we can just make it through
The toughest part of the day.

But everything changes
If I could turn back the years
If you could learn to forgive me
Then I could learn to feel,

Stay here together
And we could
Conquer the world
If we could
Say that forever
Is more than just a word.

If you just walked away
What could I really say?
Would it matter anyway?.
It wouldn't change how you feel.
