Delilah forma parte del álbum bajo el nombre de Yes, Virginia, publicado en 2006 por el duo estadounidense The Dresden Dolls. Entre los dos componentes del duo tocan multitud de instrumentos de entre los que destacan la guitarra, la batería, y, en especial el piano, instrumento que le da ese toque tan característico a su música.

Delilah no formó parte del plantel de singles seleccionados, a pesar de ser, en mi modesta opinión, la joya oculta del disco. La letra y la composición musical son excelentes, y se puede apreciar una enorme fuerza en ambas. La letra es bastante dura, sin ningún tipo de tapujos, como es habitual en ellos. El tema trata sobre una mujer que sigue queriendo volver con un hombre que la trata a palos, aunque algunos lo interpretan como una canción sobre una prostituta que se enamora de uno de sus clientes.

Hace unos meses The Dresden Dolls puso a la venta su nuevo trabajo, de título No, Virginia, con canciones que no fueron incluidas en Yes, Virginia.

Gracias a Ana (a.k.a. "elfa gris" xD) por recomendarme escuchar cosillas de este duo, que me ha sorprendido muy gratamente.
