Bitch fue el primer single del álbum Blurring the Edges, publicado en 1997 por la cantante y compositora Meredith Brooks. Este ha sido su tema más éxitoso, de hecho, ha sido el único que ha triunfado y que la dio a conocer en todo el mundo. Después de esto, todo lo demás que publicó no fue muy bien acogido y desde entonces esta artista ha pasado completamente desapercibida. Es más, cuando se dio a conocer Bitch, la mayoría de oyentes pensaban que era una canción de Alanis Morissette.

Como curiosidad, las emisoras de radio de EEUU, al principio, preferían no nombrar el título de la canción, que puritanos son estos americanos...
