Broken fue incluida en el album Disclaimer II, publicado por la banda sudafricana Seether en 2004. Colabora en el tema la cancante Amy Lee (Evanescence), aunque ciertamente hace bastante más que colaborar, y no lo digo porque por entonces esta y el vocalista de Seether, Shaun Morgan, fueran novios, lo decía en el sentido puramente artístico (malpensadillos...)

La canción desprende una fuerza y una emoción impresionantes, y cuando la escuche hace ya unos años se convirtió automáticamente en una de mis preferidas. Lo que tiene Amy Lee es una señora voz, espectacular.

Broken fue el tema principal de la (horrible) película El Castigador, gracias a la cual obtuvo gran popularidad mediática.
