Dum Diddy fue incluido en el disco Monkey Business, publicado en Junio de 2005 por el grupo estadounidense Black Eyed Peas. Si bien no fue lanzado como single del album, en mi opinión lo merecía sin ninguna duda.

El éxito de este disco fue abrumador, cosa no muy sorprendente ya que la banda era ya conocida por casi todos, además de por llegar con un puñado de singles prometedores, y rápidamente obtuvo una ristra de multiples discos de platino en una decena de países.

La canción que nos ocupa sigue la línea de lo visto en Black Eyed Peas en sus últimos trabajos, ritmos marcados acompañados de una melodía pegadiza y la alternancia entre las voces de los diversos integrantes del grupo, entre los que destaca la buena mezcla de voces femenina y masculinas, sin olvidar ese sabor a hip hop, comercial eso si, cosa que no le resta valor ni mucho menos.
